3 mph or worse slower if you don't do the rest its pointless. filter mod. jet. possibly atomizer up one size. mixture with plug checks is it 3 port or 5 port kit what you should get with just filter mod is better uphill power better run through the gears and a smoother cruise even in head wind but not much actual speed gain without the other things' then it will still not be that much unless you go up-rate the clutch aswell. your best off if you have not already done it is drill the filter possibly upgrade the pipe and main jet and get a totaly different running scooter without the cost and waste. if your going to upgrade you need to go all the way to get any gain back for your money. always remember you will feel better and like your scooter more if it rides good in all conditions it more than compensates for the 200 quid for 10 mph if your lucky

if its done right you shouldn't need to run it in maybe 30 miles just to be safe you do need to check what speed your getting now and what has been upgraded you should get about 55 with ease anyway kitted 60 cruising speed by the speedo but will be less on sat nav as speedo is never right on a vespa get it out do about 40 50 constant then park it up and check the plug its only a basic check but will tell you a lot about how its running check the plug is a b8 as ill assume its mallossi on a 166 which is a hot running kit
