Hi all just purchased px 125 2012 . No handbook but was told to have fuel cut off pointing straight up when riding but it keeps stalling . When I turn it to the right when sat on seat it's fine . Tank is full . Anyone cast a light on this please .

I've got a new 2016 PX and they now come with this attached Makes life a lot easier for newcomers to Vespa's and for those of us who don't speak Italian.

Hi northstandhero, we posted at the same time before and I noticed you'd said slightly different. It made me wonder if the more modern taps had changed again; your image seems to show they have. If so, it would be interesting to know when that changed (though I won’t be buying anything modern), and mont’s 2012 seems to be as we expected. Does your 2016 speedo still have a fuel warning light as well as gauge?

Hiya Sime, yeah still has a warning light,on previous px's I'd always taken it as off, reserve,on. The graphics on the new bike could be interpreted as that or the pump could just be referring to the tap being for fuel. In all the years of having scoots I've never used the tap on reserve anyway.

Simply there are only two taps, older type with no fuel gauge pre EFL has 3 positions off on reserve
Sat on bike Looking down off lever to left On lever pointing up Reserve lever pointing right
later taps 2 positions off on only
Off to left, right for on
Its not uncommon to find someone has put the wrong tap in.
