i got a new flasher unit for a project im building and hope someone can help me with the wiring....top connector has L1 next to it, left hand has L2 and a red dot on it and right hand has C and a blue dot on it. tried following a wiring diagram but it just looks like spagetti to me. This is just the start of my wiring woes i feel. The project is is a vespa engined lambretta chopper with beedspeed bars and a moto x switch block.

Is the flasher unit the one that would have come with the vespa the engine came out of? If you are using all the electrical components that came with the vespa and are grafting them onto your hybrid machine then the old wiring diagram still stands. If you are have snags interpreting the diagram then I'll have a crack at it for you if you can tell me the year and model of the donor vespa. Switches are relatively easy as they all just redirect the current that comes in to where you need it.
Cheers

Flasher unit is a new one. Got the scooter built but without wiring, bought a new switch block and a new custom light unit with indicator built in.
I believe the engine is P200E. I have a wiring loom for that engine that i bought.
Wiring is my pet hate, i am hoping the wiring fairies come down in the night and i wake up in the morning with it all done. ;D ;D ;D
