PX150e from the Ark Royal

Hi,
My PX was originally on the Ark Royal, but I need some way of proving it

My friend has owned it for 14 years and purchased it on eBay from a lady who brought it from an MOD auction.

It's never been registered for the road and has 4500 miles on the clock.

It has the original side car which had the tool box on it but the tool box has rotten away.

Has anyone any ideas how I an get proof.?

1st get a dating cert .then famous boats like the ark get books/historys written bout em . authors get access to MOD records an ships logs .somewhere in there will be requisition notices for i believe there was 2-3 scoots for mechanics deck runabouts . the logs will still be held by the admiralty or imperial war museum , a request to inspect/read will take time an form filling but should be granted .if your lucky the scoots will have been from when ship was built an fitted out so will be in the "commisioning" papers .if a later thing you'll have to wade thru the log day by day ,H
