Hi I have a 50 S (1979)
It idles fine generally but when you are slowing down for a junction etc it often stalls when it comes to a complete stop - whether its in neutral or second with the clutch in.
Do I need to adjust the idle screw dya think???

Try the mixture screw, or try tweaking the throttle cable adjuster so it's a little tighter.

like spence said, I would control the cables and rich screw or make the idle slightly higher. Sometimes they are to short and some woodoo happens. Once it happened to me to see a PX that was stalling when breaking or when in two: these conditions were pulling the choke cable.
