Hi Guys As part of my ongoing re vamp of my vespa GL I have pretty much finished stripping the body, however I cannot seem to figure out what holds the brake pedal on and would like to remove it for frame painting etc, how does it come off?
All help appreciated
Ian

look in the slot on top of pedal were it pivots , you'll see amongst the dirt what looks like a nail head ,thats the top of a pin that goes thru hole in pivot to hold pedal on .needle nose pliers or grope around underneath n push up with a screwdriver . H

Thanks for the info Henri Got it out I wanted to remove pedal in order to remove all paint from frame to bare metal it before it goes for proper painting, I had previously painted this scoot myself and also did the filler work, when I bought this scoot years ago as a box of bits the brake pedal was attached to frame and I could not remove it then but wanted it done properly this time round as a spray painter criticised my handiwork!
I can`t believe I spelt Brake wrong on the title!

I've used my back brake quite a lot over the last 20,000 miles. And hard too. hehehe My local vespa garage mechanic noticed it when I popped in for 2T Everytime I go there he'll find something not quite right by just glancing at it. Last time my tyre pressure was not quite right! Sorry, I'm rambling now Anyway, I meant to say, mask off the brake pivot pin on the chassis before you spray it
