hi all my pk50 has developed a relli strange problem when i put it into gear the front right hand indicator stops working it only works in neutral any advice will be welcome.

where is the switch for the indicator on a PK50? If it's the same as a PX then it will be on the left, the same side as the gear selector. I would check out the wiring going to the switch and the switch itself, simply twisting the lever may bring a break in the wiring insulation into contact with earth, a place volts love disappearing too!

do you mean put into gear and see if a wire is being pulled ?? i will check tommorrow although ive always had some problems with my indicators thanks for the advice

What I mean is that you should approach the problem logically, if it only happens when the gear lever is twisted then as the wiring for the indicators pass near to the lever then perhaps there is a problem with the wire. Don't forget that the break may not be immediately obvious and that the wire has been rubbing against the tube for some time, best bet is to put some insulating tape (electricians tape) around any wires passing near the moving parts of the gear mechanism. If that solves the problem then you are on your way to a permanent fix.
