yes boys n girls , thats a de-laminated shock mount been held together with 2 m5 countersunk screws an nylocks . tight or what , an been that way from before my mate bought the px 8 years ago . i mean he uses it for a 18mile 70mph A23 commute everyday an does speedbumps at 40mph , an ive been telling him for last 7 years his rear wheel looks at a funny angle . scary stuff . H

seen indian ones done with bent over nails before ,just to hold together for export .but this was a 4 year old english scoot when it was done . tight or what .H

i must have been away for too long as i think thats an improvement to the design!
one scoot i had, that mount was split in half, i didnt even realise that there was nothing holding the top of the shock to the chassis! just the weight of me and my girlfriend holding it place. until i smelled burning,, the tyre was rubbing on the shock that bodge would have stopped that happening in the first place. not bad!! hahahaha

i put it on facebooger p-range page ,an even had 1 guy claiming it was his work .he'd done it to sell scoot to a "mate" ?? . an then his mate had sold it on like that . no shame at all??? . H
