i'll start , apart from the obligatory socks/fingerless gloves/hat ,all thermal for shed-wear .management got me "tuning vespas" by norrie kerr ,got to love the 1st page disclaimer ,to paraphrase , "this is what i done,an if you do same an it blows up,dont come crying to me " .fills me with confidence that does ,goin out to the shed now to do some porting,with a road drill blindfolded . an got a new "shed-mug" coz old ones got grinder rash n tastes of rust ,but as its got motorcycles/pistons/etc on it doesnt really qualify under the above rules .
an will confess i made a rooky mistake ,got management a cd of her teen idol, a short man who smells of wee in my opinion , so have just had to listen to all 19 tracks of "dirk wears white sox" adam ant .but earnt enuff brownie points that i dont have to accompany her when he plays brighton in may .the relief is enormous, an i know this aint scooter related .am just sharin the pain n fishing for pity . H

Ha i feel for you mate..got a few scooter related bits...cover disc lock and a cctv system for me garage..on the music front got the missis a signed by all the band and space ritual rare Hawkwind album..40yr old and still with the stickers/poster inside...told her its too rare too play..i f**kin hate stuff like that....she bought it...its goin in a frame on the wall

From a scootering point of view, Santa's sack was empty by the time he came down my chimney; but I do already have the 'Tuning Vespas the Norrie Kerr way' book, and I didn't have to listen to Adam-and-the-bleedin'-Ants, so I'm fairly happy with my lot. I'd think you need something suitable playing very loud in the safety of the shed to flush your ears out after that assault! I have been chef this morning, (listening to Ian Dury; New Boots and Panties and Do it Yourself), and and am now stuffed to bursting, but might get the scooter out early tomorrow for a quick jaunt; just for fun, not jetting. Hope the sciatica is not proving too restrictive, and the No-fags regime isn't too horrible.
I got a rather smart dark grey cashmere overcoat (like to dress tidy sometimes) – it only shows camel and black here though:
