just had full re spray and full airbrush on my baby im just in the middle of rebuild so pics are to follow keep your eye on this thread guys its absolutely awsome and its not full built yet people keep trying to buy it as soon as they see it

Got bored of taking chrome on and off to keep up on rallys and body needed quite a bit of work to survive the future so decided I like ska music aswell so sod it 2 tone rally going scoot in red and black coz everyone else goes black and white can't wait for first rally in March to show of mi baby.

The red's a good touch, and the highlights/spotlights; an evolution of your old colours too.
I didn't have chrome for the sake of it anyway, but the shiny stuff I'm keeping is stainless now.
I like it; hope we see more as you're getting it ready for first rally.

alright rab ,wondered were you'd been . but did have my suspicions after the hints ya dropped earlier in the year .
that looks real nice ,the red n black is a inspired choice , looks real tidy . no dropping hammers this time eh ,but does mean you cant go hiding it behind loads of chrome now .once a mod ,now verging on a "street racer" , mid-life crisis is it . H

the mod is always under there somewhere but ill be keeping it off the scoot apart from the bradford flip rack and flags of course they are a must lol ive also gone front end upgrade from drum to disk and done loom conversion to full battery my/disk loom has anyone got any pics of the headset that shows were all the cable grommet/ guides go in the headset and were the return spring fits besides the hole in the bar for the throttle i took pics before i dismantled it but deleted the buggers . last question i have 1 black 1 grey cable for gear selector is it grey top black bottom at bar end and black inside grey outside at box end ? once i have these cables sorted and a bit of rear loom sorted i need to take some more pics as ill be doing the floor rails but with a little twist to match the scheme of the scoot and just got my ancillotti seat today in black but now think i should have gone for a red one oh well three seats to sell one to buy it should pay for its self with change

I like it; hope we see more as you're getting it ready for first rally. im actualy glad you noticed the spotlights fella once its done ill go round it with camera on movie mode as the spotlights are actually graphite grey metalic flecks that spread and form a spotlight outwards as you walk round the scoot so looks like its lighting up the pictures i dident think it would work but it does very well |

very trick on the lights rab ,wanna see the vid , not sure i understand the cable question .but 1 nearest cases is the 1st pulling one, twist bars to 1st an see which pulls ,that 1 goes nearest cases . an i'm done "preaching to the choir" .have ya thought about the black seat but with red piping ,saw 1 tother day an it looked nice ,really set off the scoot. wonderin what magickery your up to with the runners ,guess i'll have to wait n see . have a good 1 .H

managed to sort all the cables and grommets out in the headset with a bit of tinkering today all switch wires fed down to the horn cast and connected apart from 2 or 3. i need a few days break from it so bring on crimbo then i have to sort out all the dc disk model wiring loom at the rear colour blind and not guna enjoy it

just waiting on a few bits from buzzsolo a few cables to adjust and shes ready for whitby 2 month early . new bead blast machine has been a god send the amount of small parts i can clean up properly instead of replacing has already paid for itself even tho are lass got me it

Ooh rab, you bobby-dazzler , hard core scoot-porn , Henri likes , a lot . that shipley nite-owls scoot really got to ya eh ,nice bit of inspiration an you was up n runnin . really like the reversed colours an the rims really set it off ,simes smokey indies idea i can see working nicely . to be picky (arent i always) maybe ya seat needs a bit of love an attention . same red/burgundy piping maybe or just a good clean up ,the "devil is in the detail" after all. apart from my minor winge it looks a real stunning scoot ,hope ya happy with it an i'm happy for ya . H

already got the thought of having the seat re sewn in red stitching or piping just need to get off my ass and find somewhere local that can do it. i was going to go for a red seat but that's way too much red in one block and i cant find a 2 tone red and black seat any other colour i can seem to find just not the one i want unless i get it re covered.waiting for buzzsolo to get some smoked indicator lenses in simme i have changed the brake pedal rubber and kick rubber from black to red since pics were taken . i might try paint the grooves in the center plate red as well. i forgot to put in the steering lock back in when i re fit the forks and headset so that's a pain in the ass to sort fiddly git. and had to strip out the rear hub as i forgot to paint that bugger lol wouldn't mind its been sat on the engine on the bench for 5 weeks right in front of me and i still didn't think to paint it until id re fit the engine and rear wheel. just got the gear cable fine adjustment to still do and rear brake cable to sort waiting on a second set of hands and eyes so there bang on |

great minds think alike eh , or fools rarely differ , nah the 1st one .agree a red seat would be too big a block of colour ,an they seem to fade n look scruffy quickly .as youve a cover to dismantle an copy any half decent trimmer will be able to make you up a new 1 .yellow pages/google car trimmers in your area ,or theres people on facebooger who do the work .nearest 1 i know to you is steve bails in lancashire ,he did my seat cover in grey with red stitches n piping an strap for £50 .if ya type in px seat cover into ebay he works for the shop selling all the stretch covers ,can see if i can find his contact details for you if ya like. H
