Hi, welcome to the vespa.org.uk forum.
The Stella is just a Vespa made under license for the US market, in a similar vein to the LML or the Bajaj Cheetak, so they're probably worth having. I think there's an outlet for them in the UK, but why not just get a Piaggio Vespa?
Scootering magazine ran an article on the Stella several months ago, give me a chance to scan through my back issues and I'll come back to this thread.

Do you want to post a phot within your thread, or as part of your profile? Nice scoot btw, want us to put it in Reader's Scoots? The Stella, which is marketed in the US by the Genuine Scooter Company, is actually made by LML (India). It retails in the States for $2899, which is about £1600 depending on the exchange rate. You can get an LML Star (Stella means Star dunnit) 125E Disc in the UK for £1349, so if you want a cheap Vespa looky likey, you might as well get a new LML from a UK stockist. eh ? it go faster, use less fuel, and is built like a tank yet costs £650 less.. Er let me think...

Hmm, I wouldn't exactly say "built like a tank". We are talking about finest Indian engineering here, and there's a reason they're £650 less than a PX125.
We'll get to work posting The Blues Mobile on the Readers' Scoots page. Email me with any details you want included alongside (like when you owned it and stuff).

 well i think i might have found a paint job for my pk ;D cookeye  can i get a seat for a pk like this one as it would look soooo much better than the thing with plastic round it. |
