I think the sprint is the evolution of the gl, slightly stronger engine, and some styling changes. I'm sure some more knowledgeable people will chime in. scooterlounge.com has a buyers guide that goes into some of the particulars of most model vespas.

depending on price i'd have a gl anyday , 10" wheels an trapezoid headlight an nice body styling , if memorys up to speed panels an mudguards unique to that model but muddys close enuff in shape for a super/sprint 1 to fit an look right , to upgrade you can fit a later px engine in easily ,or a 3 port sprint lump, or convert to electronic ignition an polini do a 2 port barrel kit , either way would give you 12volt electrics aswell . had a GL 150 for five years...regret selling it a few years ago for £600...get it fella..

Hi all, the deal for the 150gl did not happen, the scoot did not feel good.I am going to Porto to see a 1972 vespa Rally 180 do they come with electronic cdi or are they points system, the photo is on my profile. cheers
