Hi all
Has anyone had experience of buying a scooter from abroad? I'm interested in how payment is made and what sort of protection from fraud you can expect?

if it aint by paypal or in person dont do it as theres no protection an its probs a fraud , H

Than's for your reply Henri, I've checked out my Paypal account, and they don't provide protection when buying motor vehicles of any type!!!

I have bought direct from France and Belgium, always going to be a bit of a gamble unless you can pay a deposit, the seller arranges delivery and you pay cash on delivery, but you will struggle to find a seller to do that. Personally I'd never pay in full prior to delivery.
