Thought I would just give you all a laugh, off work this week, had an op on my carpal tunnel ( left hand) and was bored today after too much daytime TV, so I thought, "I know I'll take the super out for a spin!!" First off, I could barely pull the clutch lever in, cos it bloody hurt, so, I figured I wouldn't go too far, just up the shop for some milk, of course as soon as I got to the top of the hill, hand already throbbing like a throbbing thing, and trying to change gear as little as possible, she cuts out dead! kick, kick, nope, nuffink, off withe the pod, no bloody spark! Seriously? It's a PX lump, so I suspected the Cdi which was a good one I had (as I thought ) when I assembled the motor, (low mileage, from crashed bike, but didn't come with Cdi) So here I was, no spark, no phone, and hand killing me, and yep, you guessed it, it starts raining! moral of this sorry story? Take your pick! Maybe they make you take time off work after surgery to actually rest, not sod around with old Italian scooters, or, maybe you should always, always take a cellphone with you, and wet weather gear, and proper clothing, etc. etc. a half hour of pushing/ swearing/ sweating and trying to hold a bike up with a dodgy hand later, I get home, sling bike in garage, make tea, sit back on sofa and watch reruns of Red Dwarf on Netflix til the missus came home and had a go at me for being a tool! Ahhh, how we love them......!

Made me smile, I've been there with a bad left hand thinking up routes to ride where there will be less lights and changing gear
