Morning all,
Been away for a while, new job, blah blah
I passed my mod2 on Thursday 1st time, zero faults. I did the test on my vespa so only an A1 licence restricting me to 125 but that's fine as no plans to add a kit.
So , the wife is wanting in on the action now so does anyone have any recommendations on pillion footrests, seems to be a variance of price and style,

all depends on ya wifes inside leg measurement i suppose , i take it your thinking of the 1's mounted to stand bolts ,i prefer the look of fold up ones rather than the simpler straight bar with rubbers on end . when kid was young looked into mounting fold up gilera pegs higher up either side of seat base ,were her feet could reach too ,didnt in end as she grew so fast i'd end up with a frame like swiss cheese ,re-drilling to mount lower , tho did stick rubber patches on panels so her shoes wouldnt rub an if pulled could try n argue the panels where "foot-pegs" , didnt have too as never saw a cop between skool n home , H

Why do you want foot rests, they just get in the way there isn't much room on the floor. I'd suggest trying without first.

It's for her and my daughter who's only 9 as she wants to start coming out with me and I though legally she had to be able rest her feet on pegs? I'm favouring the fold up ones. Cheers for the advice

her feet have got to reach floor or pegs for ya daughter to go pillion , i got away with it when mine was too short as only going a mile from skool to home an no main roads .i think if missus was pillion more often i'd think again on pegs,as with her feet on floor i find it crowds the heels of my feet a bit .i shouldnt have such big feet i guess ,H
