Hi people, been away for a few days due to work But I'm back now and starting this thread as the project will kick off from 1st of September I've decided to start work on the PX125 and this is where I'm up to now I've managed to source a front fork with full disc brake and have currently took it apart to clean and paint. Front hub is getting chromed soon and I'm after a headset bottom. A PX200 engine is already fully rebuilt and I'm picking that up in the end of the month ;D So keep an eye on this thread as things will start happening soon

Well, just to give you an update and will post some pics soon as well.
Got the HP4 flywheel and I'm keeping it at one side for when the engine is ready:)
I stripped the front disc setup I got and the hub is getting chromed this saturday and I'm also getting the suspension for it. Thinking of Sebac at the moment.
Pics will follow soon:)

I know I've been gone for quiet sometime but work has kept me busy:(
The project is still going strong I must say. Got my 200cc engine last week and its going on the scooter on the 2nd of November...one day after payday:D
Front disc is also ready with the hub chromed. Got the SIP Quick Action Throttle as well so will be putting this all together and on the scooter this week;) Ready for the engine.
Then saving time for some engine tunning and bodywork:) Will post some pics when all is done:)

When you stick the HP4on, run a slightly cooler plug like an NGK B8ES cos they don't cool aswell as the original fans . LED bulbs are also a consideration as your lights may not run as powerfully (bigger drop in headlight intensity when stoplight comes on). If you can hear ignition pinking when thrashing it thru the gears at high revs (and you will thrash it) , retard the timing by one or two degrees. All the quirks my HP4 had on PX

Hi Smallframe, had the HP4 on the 125 and with that spark plug. I found that for day to day use its not worth having the HP4 as it made the ride pretty difficult in low speeds. Great fun when accelerating but cooling was another issue as well. I have decided that I will not put it on the 200cc engine unless I start racing:) When going on long rides it would have made life pretty difficult.....plus this is a fully rebuilded engine so don't want to seize it....yet:)
