, hopefully this works , thanks sime , everybody else blame sime for showing me how , its a vbb1t chassis ,with ss90 floor ,slimmed leggys to match ,zip forks/column an 92l2 bars , an a cosa 200 lump to go in , an before the slagging begins in my defence this frame was 1 3 different people stated as definetly scrap ,the forks are from a burnt out nicked scoot an lump had broke cases from a clumsy stripping , a silk purse from a sows ear/behind can be made .H

He's only gone and done it! He was looking wobbly in the last round, but he's come out fighting and beat it. What a splendid shed too, though the axe worries me a bit. I think we've opened a Pandora's Box here............. ...and quite a monster being created too; it's got the lot!

Wow... I knew your shed was a magical place, cause I've seen pics of your smallframes, but I didn't know it was a place where you raise the dead! And you'll get no complaint from me about the bitza project, that is a great big mechanical puzzle. You must have more skill/confidence in your welding ability than I have in mine. Now that you've made the deal with the devil concerning computers, keep the pics coming!

as a man of varying tastes , maybe i'll post a few piccys of the "b*st**d" , was a bsa c15 , now its my 1/4mile sprinter with a cb350 lump n honda xl forks n 23" front wheel, it got its name as it keeps on trying to kill me , think ya might like it , an in piccys theres various montessa 349 bits lying around as i resto/conserve it for a mates son . in return i get his full race tuned kwacker kx125 dirt bike , which strangely the engines a perfect size to slip into my series 2 ld frame , with 10" wheels n gearing available it works out as top speed 65ish , but reckon on getting there sub 7 seconds ,most times actually wasted changing gears , if it was auto/slamm change reckon that would come down to sub 5 , hilarious , h

another bit done thats 1 3/4" off an same size as a smallie bubble now , cant decide wether to keep door n bolt on ,or make deatachable ss180 style ,all lectrics being behind there , an before i get told off for cutting the panel, it was 1 somebody tried to learn panel beating an failed ,looked like a boiled egg that had been in a car crash/tumble dryer , sadly the idiot made a even bigger hash of the other side .but means i feel no guilt in cutting original panels up as they were scrap already .need to get a master cylinder from a bike breakers nxt an sort its mounts for rear brake ,then its paint inside frame n zip it back together , H

i wasnt born this way , well skill-wise anyway , just learnt from old-boys ,me pops , an suchlike , an a pathological hatred of payin some bod to do what i can learn to do helps, a northern upbringin makes ya careful of the "brass" , just have a go, make mistakes n learn from em ,for more tech stuff check out the night courses at local tech colleges ,thats how i got a set of car wings "english wheeled" by a pro, cost me 7 quid a night an he loved doin what he learnt as a apprentice in the mg factory , H

right ,been a bit busy with car/mot/welding recent but have managed some more on this 1 fork cut-outs boxed in , , floor runners drilled n fettled ,brake block/pedal holes drilled .an body 90% prepped an in 3 coats of primer .an a miracle new cleaning solution invented , actually not a miracle ,just having to drain cars fuel tank to remove it an weld in area an keep eyebrows on face .didnt have enuff clean cans to store all the fuel so filled up some cellulose thinners cans that had dribs in bottom . 1/2 a hour with toothbrush n cases in babybath an "bright n shiny" , an even with shed door open i went cross-eyed n got a killer headache an forgot my own name . last piccys in case jedihunter sees this ,should make his head spin ,i'm calling it "3 into 1" or "next patient please, the doctor will see you now" , ,evil genuis or just mad-b*st**d , you decide ,H

tanks going to be a "short-range " one stuffed under arch around engine top an where air-box/butty box is now , an maybe a extra 1 in any space left in glovebox after rad n fans are stuffed in there . well thats the outline plan , might also look at lined panels as space is tight .was going to build a rear tubular space frame for top shock mount an use the ld torsion arm mount for a swinging arm pivot .but looking at it realised with the whole bottom cradle n rear upright of kx frame grafted in could still use kx arm n single shock+linkage easily .just need to chop out around 12" from the arm , cant decide yet wether to take from middle n re-weld or cut off end an re-make axle holes/adjusters . eventual plan is to have a mostly stock looking ld ,apart from holes/grills in leggys an pipe work underneath , an maybe 1-2" wider on rear .which if kept under 1/4 throttle will sound normalish/bust exhaust . but can then pick up front wheel n rev to a range no ld ever did n survive . going to scare the crap out of a few scooterboy GP/ts1/mugello riders with this one . might even get a open face lid n parka to wear when riding it to make the surprise total . an a rack on back with a wicker picnic basket ,ooh that could hold a reserve fuel tank . H. what engine is going in the lammy? I've been toying with putting an auto in one of mine, but I like the idea of a sleeper/screamer to surprise the harley croud!

its a full race tuned liquid cooled kawasaki kx 125 engine , probably wont beat the low down torque off the line of a harley with a good rider .seen a german rat harley on youtube beat a honda cbr1100 blackbird 3 times out of 3 over 500 yards . but with 6 gears an 12" wheels should be good for 60-65 mph ,an get there mostly on its rear wheel alone ,an sound like hell unleashed doing it . in picture ,in left corner behind frame you can just see the auto engine pile i accumulated when a auto was the idea .because of the torsion bar frame layout its not as simple as doing a later lammy ,but is well do-able .you need to construct a tubular sub frame an top shock mount an remove the torsion bar bit of frame .am being asked to do the auto conversion on my mates ld frame now with bits ive got .have to wait til my own stuffs done an his other lammie gp n tribsa's finished too .if i ever get around to it i'll message you specs/piccys as they come . Thanks H! I still haven't decided what i'm going to do with it. we have nothing like a breaker yard for scooters, so to do an auto ld I'll probably have to buy a complete donor scoot. So i'm just looking for ideas.

Thanks! I'm just letting things roll around in my head for awhile. The ld is 5 projects back plus whatever else may pop up. so it will be a while. I toying with putting a tuned p200 lump in it just to confirm my status as an outcast.

there was a p200/lambretta dutch scooter offered for sale here recently on e bay . guy had widened the rear by about 6" to fit engine an make it symmetrical when viewed from the rear . not 1 for "other projects" over in smallie world ,the lardy/fat-bum jokes would be endless .an you'd be same as the harleys in traffic ,no filtering as gaps wouldnt be large enough .H
