as i sold a scoot weekend before last ,i looked around an saw/bought another project , a mallossi engined v50n , along with it came another frame/forks/headset/muddy etc , a v90 cut-down in cat-sick yellow , with "clash" written on offside bubble ,"give em enuff roap" above nearside ,in red chinese style character writing ,an on front of leggys a red band a blue band then a mural/picture off 2 crows/vultures eatin a corpse in a cowboys/mexicans outfit . a copy off a clash album from 1980-81 ,will check when as ive got a copy in vinyl . my question is does anybody else recognise this description as i'm sure ive seen it before , in the flesh or pictures , more likely the later .as i'm a clash fan an reckon i'd remember it if seen around before ,coz i would of taken notice . maybe in "daves nostalgia custom corner" in scootering ,there was a issue with bout 10 pages of 80's cuts/chops n rats bout 2 years ago. i cant find my copy ,probably borrowed by a tight mate who wont buy his own copy. I've seen a few Clash-themed ones about, but I can't find any decent examples with a quick scan of the Net or through old copies of Scootering. I bet you're right though. I think I know where that custom supplement is, though, but I haven't dug it out yet. :DBTW, H, the barrel arrived today. Thanks very much indeed; it's very decent of you to help out - positive Karma your way

A night off the technical malarkey for me. (except vespasco has just posted on my biggie, which I’ll look at in a minute) It’s the second album, November 1978, you can hear it here: (I’m playing it as I type) This is the cover, and the scene on the scooter H was describing – and I imagine the 'Chinese' writing. This is the playlist (but it changed on later issues, or some other closet-only, record collector knowledge, which don’t matter a damn to me). I wasn’t a huge Clash fan at the time, but now I know more about Joe Strummer, I would have been if I was more aware at the time. – I was 12 when this came out, too punky for me at the time. I haven't got the vinyl album, but I have got the mp3. Enjoy!!

yep ,i remembered it was earlyier than what i stated ,was mixing it up with my fave "london calling" ,an the guy on horse is missing from the leggys ,not enuff space to fit him on , but its painted not stickers/wrap so def dates "back in the day" an not a modern copy , an from rust/dirt has been off the road ages ,15years+ if not more .going to be a bugger to get street legal unless the plates still registered at dvla ,tho the managements droppin hints about wether its good for the "smallframe sprinter" she's got a desire for .might take her to the scooter shootout at santa pod n see if i can scare her "sensible" .
