I know this might sound a bit sad and pedantic but... I was just flicking through Quadrophenia and something occurred to me.. When Jimmy comes across Sting's scooter in Brighton, he digs in his parka pockets and finds his own scooter keys and uses them to start up , and then proceed to steal said scoot... BUT....BUT... Jimmy rides a Lambretta and Sting rides a Vespa !!!!... would this be possible in real life ? or have the film makers missed something there?

an if it was a gs the key looks like a sardine tin key ,anything would work it , including a lammy key , tho i think the film scoot wasnt actually a gs ,i think , as rab says its a fillum , an personaly speaking i find the actors kept obscuring the scoots ,H

Wow! Its that the 'only' mistake you spotted!!?? Hahaha!
That could be a long thread.
A lollipop stick would have probably started it.

well I DID start by admitting that it was maybe sad and pedantic ! I might start ironing my underpants and arranging them in the drawer according to date purchased and elastic strength !

I think the biggest mistake 'Jimmy' made was taking Leslie Ash 'Up the back Passage!' ?

Actually, thinking about it I reckon Toyah Wilcox would have taught young Jimmy a thing or three!
