I must have missed this one from last year... A 40 year rolling exemption of the dreaded 'road tax' we have to pay so we can dodge potholes the size of an MPs wallet. From 1st april 2015 vehicles constructed before 1st jan 1975 will be exempt from this road tax. From 1st april 2016 vehicles constructed before 1st jan 1976 will be exempt from this road tax. And so on and so on
Finally they've realised.... 2 strokes aren't that bad, not for the economy anyway! Hahaha

Jack, Did Ghandi ji used to ride your Bajaj ? Is that why its historic?! I dont get it. Maybe 1983 was when it was imported? Ive always had at least one classic over the years and despite popular belief the cut off date had always been 'made before 1st jan 1973'. I was always led to believe a vehicle over 25yo made it a 'classic'. But its not, i mean, not in the eyes of the DVLA anyway. So there will be more classics! Not less. I think the 25 year thing is/has been a myth since 1st jan 1998 ! (Or whenever tax exemption for classics first came in) So in a 2 or 3 years time the P range will also be a classic.. And thats official!!
