i do know some one that does it .
because its a relatively new process you are bit limited as to film designs but more and moor are becoming available
the film is made from pva that comes on a roll the spraying is an activator/bonding agent
the piece needs to be coloured first according to the design/effect of the film , after drying it is then coated with normal auto clear coat
the film can sometimes distort on pieces with a lot of small intricate surfaces

it looks the dog nuts and is as tough as any car paint
