Hiyya fellas,you need a special tool to remove the fuel tap nut just wondering what size nut is it?going make a tool to fit at work,cheers

its 30mm across the flats ,my tool is a pushbike combination spanner opened out a bit n welded at 90 degrees to a old speed brace , you need to slim the spanner bit down a tad so it fits through the filler hole , one tool does all large frame n smallframe taps ,early ones ,wide mounts/gs n suchlike the opening is at 1 end so it wont reach . H hav found out i measured a rogue nut an it should be 32mm across flats ,my only excuse was drink n it was cold an night an i grabbed a nut at random from a box of old taps in a dark shed , will message kidda n apoligise ,H

Use a plumbers sink wrench. You can get them for three or four quid if you shop about.
