A mate of mine moved into a house last weekend and in the loft he found this Vespa helmet in pretty decent condition and I wondered if anyone knew roughly when it was from / how old it is ... I don't like the belt buckle chin strap design but hey ho for free I suppose I can't grumble  ... Thanks for looking ...

Hehe , I don't ever intend wearing it lol , I wondered if it was worth chucking it on fleabay or just chucking it ...
There's a date label under inside lining I've found .. Hand made in Italy by New Max SRL in 07/2000 so I think it'll be the wheely bin who claims it ...

Aaah ,thought it looked modern ,2007 , wish i cud top gaz's joke but apart from a lame "de-chiner" cant come up with a punch line ,
an dont bin it ,flea bay it , with the words " original,vespa,mod,genuine " an all the other ones that mean =cash , i bet it cost a packet back in the day ,add in "hand-made " (arent all helmets like that or have they got robot assembly plants) an decent photo's of "vespa" logo an ya'll get enuff for a new spark plug n bottle of 2 stroke . if not bothered can i have the vespa logo's off it before binning ,please , H

07 (July) 2000 it was made , I'll probably offer it off for free at next rally I attend, if I do chuck it out I'll send ya the Vespa badge f.o.c no worries ...

roger daltry had one of them on his head in mc vicker movie you could mention it in your add if your putting it on fleebay it could boost the bids
