went to visit my dad and uncle in baildon this afternoon all was well until i reached the top of the hill a found myself in the middle of harley davidson meet . there was a good few hundred people and a few hundred bikers with there bikes all around me .what did i do a sat proud on my vespa in my parka open face helmet with sunglasses and my england neck tube covering my face over my nose ( yes full mod gear on ) and waved at these few hundred bikers as i passed them over reving my vespa in torment as i got stared at . i found it that funny i went out of my way to go back past the same way on my way home .then in the middle of all these bikers at there sunday meeting pub were some of the baildon scooter club guys with there lammys and vespas standing proudly and waving back at me and smiling with pint in hand .top afternoon to remember

wicked fun ,them hogclub guys cant take a joke sometimes an quite often take themselves too seriously ,scratchers n old-skool bikers ive found dont have a prob with scoots an will chat about them n bikes happily , but the re-born "badass" harley/hogclub guys seem to think they buy the attitude with the bike n harley clothes ,
stopped taking them seriously when on a mates chop, (canary yellow gs1000 with open drag pipes)went past a line up outside a cafe an not 1 looked ,all too busy posing an tryin to look "mean" , how many nodded/waved back at ya ,very few or none i bet ,too afraid of lookin uncool in front of the rest.
nice to hear on the way back there was sum class italian metal amongst all that usa agricultural stuff, if ya think you got funny looks i bet they werent as funny as me yesterday ,hacked back to brighton on my bike to get down the seafront on scoot an couldnt resist a little detour to see how many where there ,hundreds/thousand maybe more ,mostly modded 1's ,you'd of loved it rab, an right in middle me in full wet weather bike gear on my bike with a px engine an 2 10" tyres tied on top the panniers ,saw a few guys go pale ,an got pointed at by a few scoots that i'd passed in the traffic ,good weather/nose to tail traffic an my home town , had to be a bit naughty in traffic,it wud of been rude not too,
rainin steady today ,so i guess some mod p*shed god off last night ,hope it clears a bit by afternoon, H
