Am I going potty or what??? Just found this thread on google and thought "I've not got that on my Hub" A'm I supposed to have a Cam/arm spring on my front hub please?? I'm never noticed this while F**king around for the last couple of weeks on my front brake and after having trouble's with my arm not springing back properly I'm a'bit concerned I'm missing this part? ???e I could be talking complete s**t but it's just a little worrying! HENRI please give me some word's of wisdom & slap round the face, I've not put the brake back together yet but have brought all seals and installed. (weekend job) Bottom pic shows more clearly the big spring sitting behind the arm Attachments:

Naw, never had a spring on mine mate the spring on the brake shoes is all you need...

Very strange!!!! I cannot for love or money find a spring for sale anywhere either. Only spring that looks similar is one for a Lambretta front brake?? Well if you guy's have never seen one then I'm no longer gonna worry . Cheers

reckon somebody as stuck a rear brake arm spring on the front "to help it out" ,or just any old spring , ya brake shoes snapped back after i turned cam by hand an realesed the hub , seemed the spring on shoes was up to the job, slap it together friday after work an ya can get to the ferry n watch all the scoots go over to the "pile of sh##e" ,my missuses name as her mum use to take her on holiday there,i'll be outside a pub on the a3 watchin the london lot go by ,H

Lol ,,, Cheers Henri will be putting back together the weekend after I've finished spraying the new mudguard,managed to find a almost perfect colour match in B&Q so I'm well happy put 3 coats on today and it's looking good. i shall be down the ferry port the weekend sad as it sounds just admiring the scoots. lol
