I took my taxdisc holder from underneath my left handlebar before. Got another one I was planning on putting on right side of the front mudguard where the screw is. Had a go at getting the inside bolt off but I couldn't get a grip or any leverage with small pliers or a wrench as the bolt is really thin. Is there another tool that would be good for this or does the wheel have to come off? That should be an adventure if it does! Haynes manual time. Guess there is no rush as reading some older posts, you don't have to legally display the taxdisc on a scooter anymore anyway.

10mm socket should get into it mate, may need an extention bar.. BTW, I replaced that bolt with a black plastic number plate bolt to avoid taking the paint off the mudguard when I tighten it down

Was really easy with the 8 mm socket, never actually used them before (I'm embarrased to say)... can see a lot of places where I could have saved myself a lot of bother and a lot more where I will do Ta!
