good thing with ebay is if you buy job lots for a few bits you want you can re list what is left and throw back in what you replaced if its useable and get your money back of near as dam it

yep rab, thats what i did with most of the stuff ya sent me ,picked out the cherries n dumped the dross on flea-bay ,an shakermaker if ya want period bling at ok prices n good quality theres 1 place thats highly reccomended,by me n others , an thats " DiscoDez" ,dont let the name put ya off, he's been around scootering for years an has a good rep, barely a month goes by without him getting a shout/thanks in the featured scooters spec-sheets , but as rab says job-lots on flea bay ,but ya have to put hours in an be sharp eyed n quick, also badly listed stuff , for instance like a rack thats listed as "scooter rack" without a maker/model name ,if you can see enuff in photo to be sure it will fit buy it,if seller knows an lists as vespa or lambretta an says a model type they will get more for it , if ya get it wrong you can re-list an get ya money back,or even by listing as "rack ,lambrett maybe, wont fit vespa " get more an make a profit, ya get the idea ,an for spots ,car boot sales/autojumbles ,single not matched pairs of spots are half the price there compared to scooterist/mod prices , as car owners def want matched pairs, but if ya patient an stick to less fancy lucas items you can make up pairs , to start ya off ive a yellow lense round lucas bottom mount 1 i'll sell ya ,good chrome an can send a piccy if ya give us a e mail address ,also got a vbb rear rack, but it left its chrome back in the 60's ,ok, H think laterally ,soon as people put scooter/italian/original in front of it ,it means theve upped the price, but mods aint the only 1's for whip areials/fox tails/flags n spots , where do ya think the original mods got there tat from,as there werent any mod shops back then , til the dealers cottoned on about the cash to be made ,

Hey, Sorry for the mega late reply, I've been busy lately !! Thanks again for the advice guys, where'd I find this infamous DiscoDez ?? Is that his user name in this forum ? Or is that his user name in "fleabay" ?! And yeah I'd definitely be interested in having a look mate, I'll send my e-mail address in a private message ... And just out of interest; where did the mods buy their whip aerials/fox tails/ flags, and spots before there were any proper "mod shops" ?!?

Oh jeez, I'm glad there's proper shops/websites these days. I know for a fact if I had to drill into my vespa or be resourceful with things such as fishing rods I'd definitely make a mess of it !! - I work in the fabrications industry (20mm-100mm) making things intricate and pretty isn't my speciality haha
