I had some scratching and chipping on the rim of my headlamp and next to the front brake lever. Just got one of those touch up pens with the tiny paint brushes from Halfords, was a standard black but it looks fine, would have to look very closely to tell the difference in shade. Guess it depends how big the scratch is.

i popped to halfords but the touch up pens they have don't match the colour of my scooter. they are either to dark or to light. i gave them the paint code but the dont have the correct info to make it up either. they do most of the other vespa/lammie colours but not mine....typical isn't it.... i have found a piaggio dealer not to far away and will call in tomorrow so fingers crossed but if not i might whack a sticker over the front of the mudguard as that would hide it. the scratch is quite big and is down to the metal so i'll just have to see. its right at where the side meets the front and its starting to rust so i need to do something pretty quick.
thanks for your time

If your still struggling, call into a good car body repair shop and ask if they can get a paint match, or at least give you another colour code.

thanks for that tip. i found a car body/paint shop that supplies straight to the trade which lucky for me is 2 miles down the road. the lady said to ride down and if they see my scooter they will easily be able to knock some up to match. ta very much.
