Got to replace my centre stand as a chunk has fallen off. got me to thinking, should i stick with a centre stand or go for a side stand? I would imagine a centre stand is still more stable - especially as my px has all the mod glits on it - but would like to know if anyone has got a side stand and how they like it, pros and cons etc.

i'd stick with the centre stand fella,fitted a side stand to my scoot about 10 years ago,it fell over 3 times in a month damaging it every time,put the centre stand back on,but the damage was done.  |

side stands look great but do make curly floorboards in the end.

have decided to stay with centre stand. much more secure. especially after the winds we had over the weekend.

I thought hard about a sidestand, they do look very nice, but also decided against it.
After all the hard work thats gone into making my side panels look almost new, I would hate to damage them again.
What is that on your avatar picture by the way? I can't make it out.

it's the backrest pad and part of my seat reflected in one of my mirrors.
