does anyone know the name of the aftermarket little box that boosts the performance for the vespa timing? it was featured in scootering but i cant find the article! i think it adjusts the timing automatically.

I've not, but the mate who fitted one to a standard bike said it was smoother to ride, but no more powerful.
I think it's a tuned engine part tbh

Install at your own risk These boxes automatically adjust the timing within the range they are programmed for based on where the timing has been manually set by moving the stator plate. To keep it simple they just delay the spark and more delay as the rpm increases. The whole idea is that the slower the rpm the more timing advance you need to get maximum power. They give really strong low rpm power if programmed and set up right and do a whole load of expensive damage if they are not!
