Was asked at a club meet last night by a mate with a 1962 Mk2 GS160 if I could post a question on here for him.
He was about to kick it over when his grandaughter ran in front of his leg, he stumbled and as the kickstart lever extended all the way down, the scooter rolled off the centre stand and the lever hit the floor.
He got it back on the stand, kicked it again and got a nasty crunching sensation, from the scooter not his hip replacement sadly. Now he says if he tries to kick it over he gets no resistance, then some bite, then no resistance again.
Between us, we thought he might have sheered some teeth off a cog somewhere, but we're open to suggestions.
Anyone?

I think his lever's returning Mr The Ripper, it's just missing its bite when he treads on it. I'll check with him over the weekend though, cheers.
