GL side panels

Not new to scootering but new to this forum. Can anyone tell me if GL side panels will fit a VLB Sprint? The frame looks identical to an old GL I used to own.

I was just looking at this picture of a 63 GL with the side panel off. Trying very hard to ignore the paint job by Ray Charles, the brackets look exactly like the ones on my Sprint:
