Had a fella approach me today with this old chestnut. The conversation went like this. "I used to have one of them" "Really? Nice one" "An SX2000" "You should have kept hold of that mate, cost a packet now" "When I say had one, I mean nearly had one. I bought a Reliant Robin instead" "Good choice" I didn't say, before donning the lid and scooting off.

Many years ago I had a Lambretta, an Li150. It was a complete pile of poo (spot the recurring theme here!) and would never tick over properly, dying at the most inopportune moments. So there i was, one Saturday afternoon, in the middle of the town where i used to live, when the impending signs of engine death started again. As it popped and farted it's last, before dying on me completely, a bloke walked up to me.
"Li150?" "Yes" (kick, kick, swear, kick, swear, kick) "I used to have one of those" "Really?" (swear, swear, kick, swear, think about chucking it one the floor) "Aye, mine used to die all the time too"
And walked off.
Hmph.
