Mornin'
Just realised I'd never introduced myself.
I'm Black Sheep, an unemployed graphic designer, just passed my motorbike license (restricted to 33bhp for two years) and living in the north west
I understand the appeal of a Vespa but do prefer a bike. Going to carry on with my 125cc over the winter, hopefully find a job and save up for a Royal Enfield.
Why are you on here if you're a biker?
When planning our back garden renovation I kept joking to Mrs Black Sheep "here's space for your Vespa" once too many times and one day she said she fancied one so I came here to find out a bit about them.

Welcome! As a sort of ex biker (sold the Honda VTR 1000 Firestorm and Ducati 916 this year) I can see the appeal of bikes. I still have a Royal Enfield 500cc Bullet 'Army'. The appeal of scooters? Well the film Quadrophenia was my inroad to scooters and I loved Jimmy's bike. So, a replica was built. Now the point is, I moved house to an area where I knew no-one involved with bikes or scooters. I found the biker attitude here rather clicky/stand-off. The scooter lads were oh so much more friendly/interesting/sociable etc. So the big bikes went to be followed by the purchase of a Vespa PX200EFL and yes, two more Lammies. I would never have got the 'significant other'' on the back of any of the motorbikes in leathers etc but she has been out a few times on the Vespa as a 'mod girl' and has been happy enough sitting pillion. Always costs me a meal out when we get somewhere mind you!!!!!!
