I'm having problems with my rear light on a 1969 150 Vespa Super. The pilot light is working but dim. I can't find any breaks in the wiring, confirmed the bulb is still OK and I've made another earth lead with no joy. Any further ideas? It's still a 6Volt.

Yes, had same problem on my 66, chasing the faint glow from headlight to taillight to brakelight which we blew A LOT! Turns out had wrong wattage bulb!!! You've got to get all the wattages spot on. All we ended up doing was putting 5W bulb in the taillight and then... dadadaaaah... it all behaved beautifully (and passed his MOT!). Good luck, shout if still a problem and my old man will happily give you the spec of all the bulbs. mrs M Don't know if this italian wiring loom for a 125 Super will help!!! Worth a try cos it gives the wattage so here goes www.wasps.it/wiring/vnc1tw.gif
