bought one the other day. you know the ones, vespa logo in the centre with the 'brackets' that are meant to put pressure on the cap and hold it in place. well, im trying to fit them but the brackets arent the right shape. should i attempt to reshape them and risk voiding the warranty on the part, or take it back to the shop i bought it from and possibly have them charge me for the service?
Also does anyone know where to get a small michelin man?

yes ive checked on epay but theyre all 18 inch monsters and thats too big for a rear rack!
as for the caps, yes i am in fact referring to the latter item with brackets that sit under the nut and bend out to hold the cap in place. this particular item just has the vespa logo in the centre and is not detachable in any way ie its all one piece. looks like im going to have to get a pair of plyers and alter the brackets to fit..... damn items not 'fit for purpose' i should really take it back but its too much hassle....
cheers for the help!
