Hello, what would I need to get my 1983 px M.O.T it was a project and I have no previous M.O.T certificates only v5, my vin number is barely visible due to previous rust. What do I need to be able to get it m.o.t? Any help would be much appreciated as I'm worried I've spent much money but am not going to be able to get her on the road. Thanks alot Andy.

I think that's about it.

It seems to be in a bit of flux at the moment. Last time I MOT'd the Cosa, it was panel off to check the frame number. When I took the P2 a couple of months back they told me they needed either an old MOT or the log book as they were no longer allowed to remove the panel, and that I wasn't allowed to stay to take it off during the test. Go work that one out...
I'd ring and check

I believe that panel removal issue to be correct as when I had a Lammie MOT'd recently I was told I needed no papwerwork brought along by the chap on the phone; so I didn't. Tester guy was annoyed with the front desk but said he'd look it up via the scoot's registration number. I offered to take the side panel off but he said he'd be OK with it from the reg. Must have be OK as it passed alright. I took all the Royal Enfield motorcycle details for that ones MOT the following week to be sure!!!!!
