help with tire pressue?

Hi everyone,

I am new to this chat board, I recently bought a '65 Piaggio Sprint. I have noticed my tire pressure seems to be a little low but I am at a loss as to what I should have my pressure at. Im hoping someone might be able to give me an answer

Hi, thanks for joining us at vespa.org.uk.
The 1965 Sprint was one of the lightest of all the 1960s models, not much heavier than a Primavera in fact. Hopefully our resident anorak in this department Smallframe will read this thread and come up trumps with some tyre pressures for you. Stay tuned.

As the "schoolteacher" spence has given my anorak a mention, I'd go for 17 psi front and 23psi rear as pe my smallframe & p2 both used these pressures.

Thanks mate, wasn't sure if the pressures would be the same with the weight being so different.

Obviously Lu takes all the credit for the Llangollen phots, even though she didn't know who she was taking them of until afterwards.
