Hi Everyone, can anyone help me. I have a Vespa LX125 05 plate. I keep having my petrol tank broken into and the petrol stolen. The petrol tank has a stopper on the underside which is accessible from outside of the bike. Young kids keep pulling out the stopper and stealing the petrol. This isn't usually a problem however last time they completely ripped the stopper off making the bike unusable. This has happened a number of times since the summer and to every bike in my road. Does anyone have any suggestions of modifications I can make to the bike so that the stopper cannot be pulled out? I have been advised by the police and my local Vespa dealer to get rid of the bike but I don't want to do that.
Thanks in advance!!

you could buy a battery powered alarm and fit under seat , this might scare them off next time ?

AK 47..... or just surround the stopper with s**t! joking aside, alarm is a good bet. am looking into one myself. also get together with the other bike owners in your street and see if you can come to some unified security arrangement.
