Has anyone seen these in the flesh (in the steel?)
Are they any good, or they a bit of a jip? They seem expensive to me for what they are (but what do I know) but they also look quite a nice alternative to the "stock" model. However, i don't know anything about the store and whether these would be a reliable machine or a bodge to be avoided.
Soory if it is a dumb question. I am now edging towards a new PX 125 but thismodel has caught my eye. They are a bit over my budget really, but I do like the look of them and could be tempted.
I would defuinitely value any word of wisdom from you lot, if anyone has any.
Cheers

Like Jack said, there's nothing wrong with them, but they are well overpriced. I'd want a lengthy warranty/service plan involved for that much cash. I've seen one in the flesh and it was spot on (quality wise - I'm no fan of Union Jack bodywork and lights and mirrors). Bit of a cheek entered into a custom show I thought!
There's nothing there that you couldn't do yourself for a lot less.
What about second hand? PX's are pretty bulletproof so it's unlikely there's anything seriously wrong with one a few years old. You can then turn it into whatever you want for considerably less dollar. There's usually plenty for sale in Scootering.

Yeah, I wouldn't fancy the union jack jobs, but the basic red "special" one looks subtle yet classic - I like the more rounded shape of the side panels (reminiscent of the 60s style) and a little but not too much chrome to give it a bot more of a unique (ish) bit of bling but again not too in yer face. I'd prefer it without the "Super" writing on the side panel as well. Keep it clean! Anyway, £3,699 is over my budget really and so I doubt I will end up getting it, but the pics do look nice.

The rounded panels look wrong to my eyes. Yes, there is the "60s throwback" argument, but as the rest of the scooter is pretty angular, they clash to my eyes. That said, each to their own, I got told I was wrong for liking Lambretta cutdowns last week, so what do I know.
Or did I say I liked the idea of cutting Lambrettas up? One or the other anyway.....
