My Simmonini broke!!

silencer sheared off last night and got run over by a car.. it was only 4 months old, I take back all the nice things i said about Simmonini when i bought it

Anyway, I don't really want another, don't want another Sito plus either, any other options for a T5 apart from the super expensive PM Tuning/Scorpion options?

The scootrs pipes are good for there money, from what l've read, it's a bit of a hit and miss re: quality, but, 8/10 people have blessed them. They also talk of better torque through the gears, down side is that you loose the spare wheel - But hey, the price is o.k.

Cheers for that, looks like I will be going with the PM Tuning 'Evo' pipe now, so should give it a bit more uuuuummmmffff! it's a left side exit like the Scorpion etc, but you can still fit the spare wheel, it's a huge mother of a pipe though!

My Simmonini is being repaired by the dealer and I've got a Sito plus on at the mo which needs a bit of welding when it comes off, so plenty of options now ;D

I had a silencer sheer off a Simonini once, as I came off a garage forecourt with a certain female pillion passenger. The pipe had been on there a while and was pretty coked up anyway, so for the hassle of getting it welded I just put my hand in my pocket and paid $65 for a new one.

I wasn't expecting it, but I noticed an immediate difference. I'm happy with it.

Yeah right whatever. If Smallframe hadn't picked it up and handed it to me at the next roundabout, I doubt either of us would've noticed until we got home. Or got totally deafened going through the Wallasey tunnel.

Tee hee, without the little end can it has no silencer at all, you certainly would have been deaf after a few miles! ;D
