Hi all. My mum has a Vespa 125 Primavera scooter, registered in 1969, which she's had from new (been off the road many years tho).
I don't know all the details cos I don't live at home any more, but the rear light is intermittently faulty. My dad's a mechanic but this one has got him scratching his head.
Basically I'm after either finding someone who my dad could ring to explain the problem and get help, or a really good scooter place in the Midlands (they're in Stoke) who it could be taken to to fix it.
Would be most grateful for any help please!

if your dad is a mechanic he will know that lights working intermittently are probably a sign of a bad earth.

Hi, I'm sure he'll have checked that, am pretty sure it's more complicated than it sounds, cos otherwise he'd have sorted it by now. Thanx anyway!

Best just run some new wires, if the fault is intermittent and not obvious, could well be a breakdown in the (very old!) wiring, best just to start a fresh, it will be a real simple circuit to the back light..
