Now then! Manchester England Scooterist, off & on for quarter of a centuary. Proud owner of a 1996 Vespa T5 Classic. Not feeling as proud at the minute tho cos 'the beast', as she is affectionally known, has started playing up. Need some advise: Took my cbt on monday & she ran fine all dya, including a 2 hour ride out. Then on a short trip to the shop, just spluttered out & refused to start. Checked all the usuals & the only thing that i could find wrong was there is oil on the spark plug. I know it's going to be summat & nothing but hopefully with the forums vast knowledge base, you can tell me which/what it is!!! Ta!!

Get yourself down the Manchester Lyons at the Dog and Partridge in Parrswood on a Monday night fella, plenty will be willing to help you out there.

Hello
I'm Heidi from California, and got a a vespa px200 e. I brought back from Florida and now it starts can can't accelerate and has to have the choke out in order not to die out. Idles fine with the choke out, cleaned carb, replaced sparkling (spark is strong),gas comes out. What the he'll could it be? Thanks I'm glad there is a forum for this.
Cheers! Heidi
