How on earth do i remove the silver switch box from the bars of an early vespa?
there's a dimple in each end of the box, do i drill them, whack it with a big hammer or what??
Help please?

If you squeeze in the middle on the top and bottom edges at the same time as pushing it to the left or right then it should come off. It's only the dimmples locating in to a small recess that holds it on and if push comes to shove then you could get a small flat bladed screw driver and insert it at the end and try prizing it off although you may end up having to buy a new cover if you bend it.
