hi glyn-seem to remember sumthin about pk forks being used, but i'll post another reply later on 2day and let you know for sure,as far as the engine goes-if you use a p range its gonna be a 12v system(unless its an early p range engine),so the wiring, and regulater will need to be upgraded/replaced to suit,if you can get hold of 1-a bajaj chetac regulater etc is a relativly easy wirin conversion to use

;D Hi I am restoring a 152/L2 but using a GL engine which has 10 inch wheels. I am changing to back to 8" on the engine i could really do with an 8" rear hub back plate if you have one you dont want. Willing to pay good money for the right part. In regards to your converssion you need to use a mixture of PK forks for the Hub end and possibly earlier bearing races off something like a GL or early p range. If i still had the gl my engine came from i think the forsk from that would fit without a problem.
Cheers Dave
PS can you let me know about the back plate by e-mail cheers.
