Hello,
I am very new to this. Just bought my first PX125E, 1983 model. Top speed is around 55. Want more speed when I'm taking off at lights etc. Thinking about buying a scootRS Vespa 150-125 tuned exhaust stainless steel exhaust. Has anyone bought one. Are they any good. Price is £90 delivered - want to ensure its work it.
Any views pls?
Also any tips to give for my model of PX? Cheers Paul

the scootRS pipes look and sound ok,and are cheap, but personally i wouldnt bother, but thats just me.Believe it or not the best value for money exhaust you cud get is a sito plus, they look like a standard exhaust, sound like your fartin in a tin but work great!!!!!!-ive put a few on mates scoots and they've been more than happy with the results. At the end of the day a standard PX125E isnt gonna perform that well away from the lights as you say, they just wernt built 4 it.Another option might be putting a kit on it ie-malossi 166cc cylinder kit etc,but then your entering a whole new realm!!!

I looked at that one recently, think you can't get the back wheel off with it in place which is a bit of a frig if you ever have a flat, put me off. Personally I'm not a fan of the Sito plus, mine didn't last long before it split (the metal is real thin in places) and the baffles started rattling, that said they do 'seem' to release a bit of power and suit a lot of people, I've gone for a Simonnini this time, quieter than the Sito and same money, £60 ;D...

I fitted it same time as the Malossi 172 kit ;Dso changed the main jet then, TBH I was a bit bothered about it being noisy, but it's suprisingly not and exiting under the engine means it's even easier to get the back wheel off. Not bad build quality, but I had to do a cut and shut job on the bracket to get it all to line up, on the standard bracket no way it would fit without hitting the underside of the floor..
