how the hell do you open these things? need to change the tax disc and dont wanna break it , do you twist it open or pop the topoff or what?  |

At last a technical poser that I can help with!  Youll probably find it twists off like a jam jar lid if its like the one I had Question is- who normally gets the lids off in your house? ;D |

The Halcyon (I think that's right) can seize though if put on daftly tight and not touched for ages. If it's not budging, try some UB40 on it  I had to smash my old one to get the disc out in the end! |

try tapping it round the edges,remember to put a little grease on threads when you put it back on

Try using an oil filter remover or one of those gadgets for the jam jars.
