I am wanting to fix a 'peanut' tank on my T5. this will enable me to fashion a radical seat for it when it is cut down. Are there special brackets available for this and where should any brackets be fixed to the tank itself? Also, where are the best fixing points on the frame

hi scrappy,ive had a cut-down vespa with a centre tank,i welded a piece of bar from the headstock back to the frame,then sat the tank on the bar.I also put a cutdown sip type seat on it (which my son makes) and it looked the business.Let me know if your interested in takin a look at a seat and i"ll get back to you.

That would be useful, I have one on my LML and it is comfy, I would consider a cut down version for my chop.
Your son makes them? are we talking 'mates rates' here?
