Hi im new to the scootering scene and have just purchased my first scoot. It's a VespaT5 Millenium.
Its seems to be running fine, however its due an MOT in June/July and the exhaust looks pretty rusted, think its going to need a new one , id like to replace it regardless to get it looking good. Any advice on what exhaust (brand) i should go for and how much i should look to pay ? Im not looking to enhance performance at all.

Welcome to the forum and to scootering smokey.
There's dozens of threads running on which exhaust for what scooter, mostly in the technical section I think, and you'll probably get as many different opinions as you get responses. Personally, for a T5 I'd go for a Sito Plus, but no doubt someone will disagree with me.

I would totally agree that the Sito Plus is an excellent Exhaust for a standard engine.It has standard looks but gives improved performance and the price is less than a standard T5 Exhaust.

Sito + every time, looks stock buyt gives a bit of oomph, sounds nice as well.
Last one I got was about £40, see previous poster for today's price.

Had my Sito+ for six months and already really rusted. Sounds good tho and improved the performance a little more (standard engine)

ye sito's good for standard exhaust but it will still be rusty in no time

Had Mine on for 3 years.Everytime it looks rusty i take it off,wire brush it and spray it with heat resistant black paint which you can get from Halfords.

Have to go with the Sito Plus theme - cheap, reliable, looks the same as the standard, all-round good choice.

Simonnini for me, both Sito's on my T5 rattled the baffles loose and split the down pipes pretty quick..
Simo was much better, only the tailpipe fell off that! ;D
