I turned up to the Bar Italia SC in a hoody once - no-one raised an eyebrow.

I honestly think nobody will give a flying one what you look/dress like mate. And if anyone does, it's their problem, not yours.
Any club that were to discriminate like that is a club that's not worth joining anyway.

Scooter clubs are not just full of mods or scooter boys these days mate .. Our club has members from 17 - 60+ years old, former 60's mods through to youngsters on TAG's all different tastes in music, clothes and most importantly - scooters... Most clubs will welcome anyone who wants to get involved.. have fun!

ah thanks for the advice, as i said i have only had it a few months and dont know much about the club scene, will have to try them out and not swap any of the northern soul tunes on the jukebox for the stray cats instead, actually i have met a few local scooterists already and they seem really nice. thanks again.

Mate if you go on a rally no one will bat an eyelid, and you'll probably even meet more people into the same stuff as you.
Some clubs are very Moddy, but they usually say so in their name, and some clubs are very scooterboy and anti-Mod (although banter is usually good-spirited, especially if you stick up for yourself).
As Robjack said, any club that discriminates isn't worth bothering with, and there's plenty more out there to choose from.
I'm glad you asked the question though, because the exact reason I started the website in the first place was so people unsure of going to a club for the first time could dip their toes in the water as it were.
Welcome to scootering my friend.
